From the 12th-19th October, Taste Spain will be livening up London with a mix of Spanish food, wine, music and culture. Spain’s top chefs, Spanish food purveyors, Spanish theatre and music as well as London’s top Spanish restaurants join forces to celebrate Taste Spain, which will include a Spanish food market at the Duke of York Square on Chelsea’s Kings Road, two days of Spanish food and entertainment at Borough Market and promotions at London’s leading Spanish restaurants.

Nine of Spain’s top gourmet regions will be attending Borough Market, each one offering free tastings as well as the opportunity to acquire special wines and foods. Barcelona’s famous La Boqueria market will also be bringing over some of its stalls to Borough Market for Taste Spain. On both days at Borough Market, there will be cooking demonstrations by some of London’s top chefs as well as chefs from the Spanish regions, all using authentic Spanish foods, and on the Thursday Valencia will be cooking a giant traditional paella. There will also be a dedicated area for eating, drinking and entertainment so that Londoners can relax and soak up the atmosphere.
