Tutored saké tasting
Akita in northern Japan is known for four things: its long, cold winters, its beautiful women, its colourful rice festival, Kanto, and a flavourful rice product – saké. And Akita’s saké is renowned throughout Japan for its richness, so places on these two tutored saké tasting evenings are sure to fill up fast. There are six different Akita saké styles to try, including Matsukura and Mansaku no Hana, along with zensai tapas, something tasty from the Moshi Moshi’s hot menu, or an ‘omakase’ (Japanese for ‘It’s up to you’) selection of sushi or sashimi prepared fresh on the premises.
