Farmhouse Breakfast Week

Farmhouse Breakfast Week

This week is Farmhouse Breakfast week (24th - 30th January 2010) - a week designed to celebrate a good hearty breakfast, and the range of delicious breakfast foods you can choose to start your day with. Although it’s estimated that 1.16 billion cooked breakfasts are eaten every year in the UK, many still go with out on a weekday. For those who do start the day with a full belly, research suggests 38% (2007) choose their breakfast foods on convenience, with toast topping the charts, and 40% on pure enjoyment. For whatever reason you choose to eat a meal at the beginning of the day, many health professionals agree that a healthy breakfast improves energy levels, concentration and can help with weight management. Breakfaster-lovers snack less and can control their hunger. If you haven’t started your week with a tasty breakfast, have a look at our breakfast suggestions and start your day on the right foot.
