Taste of Edinburgh

Organisers predict that the 2010 Taste of Edinburgh food festival will be the biggest and best yet, with an impressive line-up of restaurants, chefs and activities set for the weekend of the 28th - 30th May.

An appetizing combination of new and returning restaurants are set to take part including Centotre, Hotel Du Vin, Cucina at Hotel Missoni and The Scottish Café and Restaurant.

TV favourite, cook and author Rachel Allen will be showcasing her simple but delicious recipes to thousands of hungry food lovers, following in the footsteps of household names including Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Nick Nairn.

This year’s event is set to include Nick Nairn Cook School cookery classes; ‘Grill A Chef’, allowing people to interrogate their favourite chefs; cookery theatre demonstrations and of course, the opportunity to try dishes from the Capital’s top restaurants.
