Everything about this cook book is relaxed, unhurried, calm.
Now in its second year, the True Taste Welsh Food Market returns to the capital, bringing fresh produce from Wales’ farm gates to Londoners’ plates. The market will be held on the 26th February 2010 at Golden Square, and will showcase True Taste award-winning producers selling the very best in Welsh food.
The True Taste Awards were founded in 2002 by the Welsh Assembly Government to recognise and reward quality and excellence in Welsh food and drink, and are regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the Welsh food industry.
Twice as big as last year, the market will host up to 24 producers including The Patchwork Traditional Food Company, Black Mountains Food Smokery, The Pudding Compartment and Gower Cottage Brownies.
Expect everything from artisan cheeses and exquisite smoked meats and pates, to mouth-watering chocolate brownies and fresh fruit, vegetables and meat, all from local Welsh farm shops.
