Cranberry & almond chunky slices

Dorset Cereals have come up with a breakfast bar for those “rushed off your feet” moments. Like everything Dorset Cereals produce, their chunky slices are packed full of plump fruit, flakes and nuts. The iLoveMyGrub team devoured a few of the cranberry & almond slices which were bound together with agave nectar before being baked. Yes, that does sound good, but these breakfast bars can be all talk and no flavour – so how did it taste? Well, it was fruity and moist, with a nutty bite and quite definitely far tastier than your average breakfast bar.

So, if you quite often have “rushed off your feet” moments in the morning – hide these things everywhere in preparation. Hide them in your pockets, in your bag, down your jumper – all the usual places. That way you can chew through cranberry & almond, date & pecan or pistachio & pumpkin slices instead off making a beeline for a more feeble kind of breakfast bar.
