The Seed Co, Rapeseed Oil

Cold pressed rapeseed oil is gaining pace in the culinary stakes, with its healthy omega 3 content and high smoking point (230 degrees C don’t you know). The Seed Co, based in Dorset produce rapeseed oil from a single seed variety and bottle it in sleek, dark bottles ready to drizzle over salads and use to fry, roast and bake your food.

This rapeseed oil has a light amber colour to it and tastes delicately of pumpkin seeds. If you want to push the boat out and go beyond drizzling this lovely stuff over salad creations, you could do worse than seek inspiration from The Seed Co’s website which offers up a good handful of recipes to get you inspired.
