Fish Hoek Shiraz 2007

Fish Hoek Shiraz 2007
This Shiraz tastes very fresh on the tongue, with a good mouthful of berries too.

This fruity little number from Fish Hoek is a good old accompaniment to steak, and those heavier dishes which require a wine with a bit of body, that can stand up to a weightier style of nosh. This Shiraz tastes very fresh on the tongue, with a good mouthful of berries too.

Fish Hoek go for the simple approach, using single grape varieties for their range of clean, fresh South African wines. Reasonably priced too, so you won’t be breaking the bank for some good quality plonk. Try pairing with dishes such as Moroccan spiced lamb tagine with sweet potato, or a tasty, warm chicken and chorizo salad.

Priced at £6.19 in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Somerfield.
