Rude Health have got things right with their delicious range of muesli and porridge, by ensuring that every mouthful is an interesting one. Their ‘Fruity date’ porridge contains sticky dates, apples and the slightest hint of cinnamon, making winter breakfasts as tasty on the tongue as they are warming for the stomach. For a serious burst of energy, ‘Morning Glory’ will get you into…ahem, rude health with its blend of oats, barley, rye and quinoa flakes.

If you’re a bit of a fusspot when it comes to raisins in muesli, then Rude Health are the brand for you. Their ‘No flaming raisins’ organic muesli is packed with mango, apricots, nuts, seeds, apples and dates – but absolutely no raisins. There’s also their ‘No nuts’ muesli, for those who would rather drop kick a hazelnut to the squirrels than eat it. For those who are anything but fussy, and love pretty much everything you could throw into muesli, Rude Health’s ‘Ultimate’ muesli contains 23 fabulous ingredients, including blueberries, poppy seeds and yes folks – raisins and nuts. Make milk happy and pour it generously over a bowlful of this stuff.

Available from Waitrose and Ocado.com, priced from £3.19 per 550g.
