Tracklements Gooseberry Relish

Tracklements are famed for their array of award-winning chutneys, relishes and pickles, all hand-made in small batches to traditional recipes, using only the best and natural ingredients. This new Gooseberry Relish is certainly no different.

Made with fresh English gooseberries, juicy plump sultanas, a hint of ginger, turmeric, chilli and mustard, this little pot is packed with a flavoursome combination of sweet and tart with gentle spice. As recommended, I tried a dollop of the stuff on top of a fillet of hot smoked mackerel. The relish cut through the fattiness of the mackerel so effortlessly, it was a marriage made in heaven!
