The Boaters Inn has bagged an enviable spot on the stretch of The Thames between Kingston and Teddington Lock.
50 ml Drambuie
100 ml cider
100 ml apple juice
The juice of half a lemon
1 slice of apple to garnish
Warm the Drambuie, cider and apple juice in a saucepan. Add the juice of half a lemon to the mixture, pour into a cup and garnish with a slice of apple. Sip and savour.
Note: Serve up in a cup rather than a glass, so you don't end up warming people's hands up too much, even if it is winter.
