French rarebit

A glorious celebration of grated Gruyère and Maille Dijon Originale Mustard with a touch of garlic make this stunning lunch or supper a foolproof winner.

Ingredients: 

225g/8oz Gruyère, grated
1 tbsp Maille Dijon Originale Mustard
1 finely grated fat garlic clove
1 tbsp dry white wine
4 slices crusty bread
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions: 

Place the cheese, Maille Dijon Originale Mustard, garlic and wine into a bowl and mix well. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Toast crusty bread on both sides. Pile on cheese mix up high to cover toast right to the edges. Return to grill and cook till cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve immediately.
