With nine whole spices including cinnamon and star anise as well as dried fruits such as orange and cranberry, this mulled wine recipe will add a something special to your festive mulled wine.
750ml of red wine
2 tbsp of granulated sugar
Mulberry mulled wine spices (which can be purchased from Waitrose)
Pour the 750ml of red wine into a large pan and add 2 tbsp of granulated sugar. Add the mulled wine spices and stir. Simmer gently on a low heat for 15 minutes making sure you do not let the liquid boil. Then remove from heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Remember to remove the spices by pouring through a sieve before serving.
