Waterloo Brasserie

SE1 8UL London 119 Waterloo Road For commuters spilling out of Waterloo station, there’s finally somewhere across the road where you can fill up on restorative food and notable cocktails. The brasserie sits on Waterloo Road, within sight of one of London’s busiest stations, and the theatrical allure of The Old Vic. If you’ve got a night booked out at said theatre, you could do little better than to slip into the brasserie for some very good cocktails as a pre-theatre warm up.

The Wingrove House brasserie and boutique hotel nestles on the edge of the picturesque village of Alfriston, a jewel of the South Downs to which the Wingrove adds stylish, modern, yet relaxed sparkle.

W1A 1AB London 400 Oxford Street Selfridges Just when all anyone can do is bang on about the credit crunch, Yo Sushi have launched a luxury range of sushi bites. Exclusively available at Selfridges, these superior morsels will set you back by a quite affordable £6.00 each. Needless to say, the ingredients for these indulgent mouthfuls are luxurious ones: lobster, sea urchin and scallops have all made it onto the new menu and we perched ourselves at the conveyer belt to try them all out.
